Trolling in Online Games: A Love/Hate Story
Every game has a troll (Funny, Deadly, and Annoying….like me :D). Trolls use different types of arsenal to piss people off in games, such as tea bagging in Halo or Noob Tubing in Call of Duty . Now, if you don’t know what a noob tube is (or trolling *god help us all*), just visit the link: http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=noob%20tube
Here is an example of Trolling:
Guy: “I just found the coolest ninja pencil in existence.”
Other Guy: “I just found the most retarded thread in existence.” <—–Troll

Classic Trolling in an online game:
The reason why trolling is popular in online gaming is because it is fun. There is nothing like hearing someone yell into the microphone with a crazy monkey voice. But why Troll you ask? Some people just can’t get any kills (especially if they are below a certain level…or if they just suck at life). Can I say that this is wrong? It depends. If the trolls act like complete assholes and don’t respect other players, it’s a disgrace to the online community. If they troll for good (gaining levels, helping your teammates, etc.), then I guess it is acceptable. I’m not totally agreeing with the use of good trolling though, especially when there are no kids to prank on the server. God…I sound like Doctor Phil or something so lets cut to the chase. It’s up to you to decide if trolling is good or bad for the video game economy.
